John "Colter" King
Colter is a Wyoming native and joined Holthouse Appraisal Group as an independent contractor in October 2012. He completed the trainee process and became a Certified General Appraiser in February 2017. His appraisal related experience includes: commercial, industrial, residential, agricultural, and recreational property types in most markets across the great state of Wyoming. In 2018 he obtained his real estate license in order to provide an even broader range of services to his clients. Prior to his career as a real estate appraiser he was a credit analyst and loan officer for a community bank in Casper.

Theo B. Hirshfeld
Theo has a global background that includes farming and ranching in both Kenya (East Africa) and Wyoming. Theo cowboyed in Daniel at the Quarter Circle Five and the Cross H in Buffalo. He began his education at the Royal Agricultural College in the United Kingdom and completed his master’s in Agricultural Economics at the University of Arizona. Theo has been a licensed ranch broker and certified general appraiser (TBH Appraisal) since 1991.

Edward J. Holthouse
In 1999, Ed started Holthouse Appraisal Group to serve the needs of his clients. In his professional career, he has been involved in many facets of the real estate business beginning as a contractor and developer in the early 1980’s, as a broker for more than 20 years, and as an appraiser since 1996. Ed holds the CCIM (Certified Commercial & Investment Member) designation and is a member of the CCIM Institute. This designation is only achieved after a broker or appraiser has completed more than 160 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, investment analysis, and ethics for commercial investment real estate.Ed and Holthouse Appraisal Group cover nearly all property types in most markets across the state of Wyoming.

Judith M. Holthouse
Judith (Judy) Holthouse joined the firm in October 2001 and became a Certified Residential Appraiser in January 2005. As a real property appraiser, Judy has extensive knowledge in valuing single family residential units, condominiums, 1-4 family residential units, and vacant land. Throughout her career she has completed appraisals for federally insured lending institutions, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, relocation companies, estates, litigation work, and individuals. In addition to appraisal work, she is the compliance officer for both the residential and general appraisers at Holthouse Appraisal Group; including, but not limited to, matters involving Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD regulations. On top of Judy’s extensive knowledge and experience in the appraisal industry she was previously a broker associate for real estate sales in northeast Wyoming.
